Hike is one of the most used Messengers in India along with Whatsapp. Whatsapp has a very huge user base and Whatsapp have few disadvantages too. For Using Whatsapp, One must share their mobile number with others. Even though if you want to chat for one time, the mobile number should be shared and it will be with them forever.
Many people don’t like this as they don’t want to share their mobile number. But, Whatsapp doesn’t have this facility. So, After few surveys Hike is bringing this option where users can chat with others using “HIKE ID”. This ID will be unique and can be used to chat with others. This Option is not new as messengers like Telegram have this Option already but it didn’t get popular as those Messengers are not popular in India.
Hike has a relatively large user base in India and introducing this feature will be very helpful to users. This Feature is not rolled out yet but will be available in near future
