Whatsapp has announced last year that it will be stopping the services for some low end smartphones as the phones with very outdated OS(Operating System) and they don’t have the capability to accommodate the Whatsapp ‘s new features that will be introduced in Future.
The deadline is June 30th,2017 and after that you won’t be able to use Whatsapp in the below mentioned 6 OSes.

  1. Android 2.1 and 2.2.
  2. Nokia Symbian S60.
  3. Nokia S40.
  4. Blackberry OS.
  5. Blackberry 10.
  6. Windows Phone 7.

Check if your phone is running on these OSes and upgrade to latest models to enjoy uninterrupted Whatsapp services post June 30th,2017.
