APPLE PRODUCTS TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE IN INDIA

In India, IPhones gonna be more expensive from Now onwards. Indian Government had increased tax on imported Mobile Phones from 10% to 15% . Apple imports 87% of its mobile phones from abroad. Only IPhone SE models are assembled in India.

So, There is a high probability of IPhone, IPad and MAC prices in India. Indian Government had made this move to encourage Mobiles and Electronics manufacturing in India.Companies like Samsung assembles it’s parts in India. So, This move might not affect them. But Companies like Apple gonna face more import duty and in turn gonna increase the price of Apple Products.

Apart from mobile phones. Indian Government had increased import tax on Televisions too from 10% to 15%. So, This gonna affect Television industry too. Hope this will bring the much needed change and Make In India campaign will get a boost.
