Condenser :

1. Copper Condenser and Aluminium Condenser :
Copper Condenser has better heat transfer characteristics than Aluminium Condenser. Copper is more durable than Aluminium. Copper is a more costly metal than Aluminium and obviously Copper Condenser will cost more. As condensers are kept generally on Outside Unit of Split AC, they are prone to corrosion. Better go with Copper Condenser than an Aluminium Condenser.
Refrigerant :
Refrigerant is the liquid that removes heat from the room as it is converted into gas and sends the hot air outside. This has will be converted into liquid using a compressor.
As Refrigerant directly sends heat outside to the atmosphere, it has a direct impact on Global warming and Ozone layer depletion. So, it’s not just about choosing an AC that perfectly suits our needs but also an AC that causes minimum damage to the environment.
There are different types of Refrigerants used by AC Manufacturing companies. Out of them, R22 which is a HCFC(Hydrochlorofluorocarbon) is the most commonly used refrigerant in most of the AC’s. But R22 has more global warming potential and can deplete ozone layer.
R-32 and R-410A are HFC’s(HydroFluroCarbon) better than R22 and has lesser global warming potential and Zero Ozone Layer Depletion capability. Out of R-32 and R-410A, R-32 is better.
But, the Best refrigerant is R-290 and R-600A which are Hydro Carbons and has very very less global warming potential(3) and Zero Ozone Layer Depletion Capability.
