Facebook had introduced another New Feature to its users. Now, Facebook will notify if someone had uploaded your pics without tagging you too.Till Now, Users will know only if other users had tagged them in Pics.
Facial Recognition technologies is one of the hot topics in Technology field now. With the inclusion of Facial Recognition to unlock IPhone X by Apple, Facial Recognition has become Talk of the town. But, Facebook is using Facial Recognition from 2010, where it started suggesting names to tag when we tap on faces in pics.
Now, Facebook is taking Facial Recognition to next level where User will be asked to opt for this option. When an user selects the option, Facebook will use the Existing Uploaded pics and uses true depth technology to form a template of your face. So, whenever someone uploads a pic of yours without tagging you,you will get a notification instantly with the link of pic uploaded. When you opt out of this feature, Facebook will delete the template file.This Option is really helpful as it will help users to detect and report the pics of them that have been uploaded on Facebook without their knowledge.
Facebook is currently rolling out this feature to all the users and we can expect it to reach all users in a couple of days.
